Pastoral Team

One pastor isn't enough for Emmaus.  We share many of the functions of traditional pastors, but we do it as a team.  As bi-vocational pastors, we work in the community, and serve in leading Emmaus. Each of the pastors share in teaching, preaching, planning, building community.  Email the pastors below by clicking on their photos.

Karla Morton

Following her lifelong dream, she gets to carry around one of the icons of the Pacific Northwest - a salmon.  When she isn't carrying a salmon - which is nearly always - Karla is helping to shape the minds of curious fifth graders studying calculus and quantum mechanics (probably) at Andrus Elementary, teaching in the Gifted and Talented Program.

Craig Morton

Not knowing what he wants to do when he grows up (Craig is the older one in the picture, by the way), Craig does a lot of things. Church consultant, podcast producer, doctoral student, high school hurdle and sprint coach, and occasional professor.  In his spare time, he loves to cook, garden, and watch grass grow.

Rick Bollman

When Rick isn't actively boosting Boise State Bronco's sports, he's directing the work at Corpus Christi, a day-time shelter serving the homeless folks of Boise.  Rick's background has been as an elementary principal until his retirement a couple years ago. Rick keeps us on track. Perhaps all those years as a principal prepared him for us.
